Miles in Arches, Canyonlands and More
About the Riding…
Moab, Utah is known for its mountain biking, but it also has spectacular road riding.
Road riding through Arches National Park in the spring will give your legs the quality road miles they need early season. Riding through Canyonlands in the fall is an excellent way to enjoy great scenery and wrap up your cycling season. Moab is known as a red rock wonderland containing some of the most scenic and inspiring landscapes on Earth. The wild, wild West!
Join us, as we ride into Arches National Park to see arches, petroglyphs and landscapes. We’ll ride and explore Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point and the Needles area.
About the Food and Drink…
Moab is one of our favorite cycling areas, because of it’s array of eccelectic cafes, upscale dining and Mexican food. Join us on a food adventure from organic meats, locally grown produce and a feast at the famous Milts Diner, a Moab icon and classic 1950’s diner.
About the Accommodations…
Gonzo Inn: A solid, ecceltic hotel built, by cyclists, for cyclists. This hotel is complete with bike room, bike stand, breakfast, pool and hot tub – everything a cyclists needs! The hotel is also situated in the center of Moab, making everything accessible on foot.
WHAT LEVEL RIDER DO I NEED TO BE?
This is the prefect early season or post season trip offering miles, after mile of phenomenal views and quality miles. We’ll ride 40-60 miles per day and offer longer and shorter ride options for those interested. For those seeking an extra ride, the mountain biking in this area is world famous.
WHAT ABOUT OFF BIKE or OTHER BIKE ADVENTURES?
Moab is situated next to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and…if you can imagine it, you can likely do it in Moab. This is a great trip to try something new like: Seeing the sunset via 4 x 4, Hiking to Delicate Arch, Mt. biking the famed Slickrock trail or taking pictures of the incredible landscapes. Many of our guests prefer to extend their trip to explore new adventures. Those that don’t, wish they did!
IS THIS A GOOD TRIP FOR A NON-RIDER?
This is one of our favorite trips for non-riders. If you can dream it, you can do it. There is something for everyone and here are a few ideas to get you started: hiking, photography, 4×4 sunset ride, boating, floating, canoeing, climbing, Wild West shopping, swimming, spa treatments and more.
